Day 7 - Matanzas
Day 6 - We're heading to Matanzas today. The group we met from Pennsylvania will also be there. I don't know
if we will be in the same area but we hope to meet up. They were very interested in talking about water
projects. Fr Marek Zabriskie from St Thomas' Church, Whitewash, PA knew Ret. Bishop Leo Frade and was
interested to here the details of our trip. He especially admired our meeting at FIU before departing Miami. His
daughter very much wants to visit Nepal. Rick and Lois sat next to each other at dinner last night and talked
water projects. Lois wants to help fund two projects in Cuba over the next year. Lots of ideas were being
discussed last night and the enthusiasm for helping the people of Cuba runs very deep. More later tonight....
